Easter week

We had a wonderful visit with Lori, Mark, and Stacey & Kelly over the Easter holiday. They flew in on Saturday very late and were here until Wednesday night. Tyler shared his cheez-its with Mark and even let Stacey read a book to him. On Easter, we also celebrated the start of Kelly's "birthday week" (3/29). And Tyler had his first Easter egg hunt. After he had found all the eggs, he decided he would do "clean up" and started to put them all back where he had found them.

Tyler is starting out young wearing the "baggy" pants look. At dinner last Sunday, he just could not keep his pants up and he did not want anything around his waist to help. After the pants hit the ankles and he could not walk, we gave up and put his pajamas on and he read a book with Mom & Dad. Everything in the book is apparently "yellow" - his new favorite color.

Tradition true to form - Juliane gave Tyler his first haircut last Sunday. And today, Nono went over to Tyler's house with Steve Silvestrini to put a beam in the backyard for Tyler's swing. He had a great time swinging until Daddy pushed him a little too hard and scared him.

We are adding 2 new babies to the Tigri clan. October 7th is Chris & Becky's date for the newest family member, and October 8th is the date for Matt & Sarah's first new addition. We found out by reading Tyler's special shirt at the beginning of February and, since we were reading t-shirts, Sarah had her special one, too. This past week, we went to visit all the expectant parents, read books to Tyler, and he showed us his "cheesy" smile for the camera. Then we took a Saturday ride to Vacaville and had a wonderful dinner with Matt, Sarah and her whole family. Madison will soon have a new cousin to play with.
